Welcome to my test prep portal! I am your item-writer and test administrator, steadfast supporter and neonatology enthusiast!
A little about me...my career began in 1998 in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps where I took my first RN assignment as a newborn nursery RN (phew! I really did not want to work in adult medicine) at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. One year later, I transferred to the NICU and have worked at the bedside in NICUs across the US ever since. In addition to clinical practice, I am an NNP program director, faculty, editor/author, and speaker at neonatal conferences. Bottom line: I take great pride in helping neonatal nurses elevate their understanding of complex concepts and take great care of babies.
Are you nervous to take your exam? If yes, you are not alone. Every single NNP (including me) fretted before taking the board exam (no matter what they tell you, they stressed over it). What we used and benefitted from were practice exams. Hence why I independently created this website and spend countless hours creating NNP practice exams for you! I want you to know that each exam on this site has been written with extreme care (did you know it takes ~85 hours to write one high-quality exam?).
Now, before you jump in and start practicing, believe this -- with a focused study plan, grit, and a hefty amount of grace, you can learn, retain, and recall essential facts, pass your board certification exam, and begin your career as an NNP! You can do this. So, let's get after it!
